MoneyCraft's Founding
Welcome! My name is Siddarth, and I operate MoneyCraft, a small foundation in the center of Garnet Valley, PA. I have always had a fascination for finance. As a child, I spent countless hours twiddling with the idea of money in my head. What was it about this piece of paper that billions of people chased after? This question would always ring in my mind even harder whenever I would visit India, my country. Seeing the financial gap between the rich and the poor made me wonder what really causes that gap. With an unemployment rate of 7.45%,
I could not avoid the gaze that the people on the streets would give as a flashy BMW or Mercedes drove by. As I grew older, this fascination turned into a passion, and I decided to pursue a major in actuarial science, a finance major that studies assessments and quantifications of financial risks in businesses. Through this academic field, I plan to evaluate how economics and financial decision-making can differentiate wealthier individuals from those with fewer financial resources. So after several months of planning, I finally decided to take the plunge and start my own community-orientated organization that would share my findings on financial decision-making with my community.
